Mooli ki Sabzi | मूली की चटपटी सब्जी | Radish Veggie Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Mustard Oil
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 1/2 tsp hing/ asafoetida
  • 2 tsp Garlic Chopped
  • 2 tsp ginger crushed or paste
  • 1 Green Chilli finely chopped
  • 1 tsp Coriander Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • 2 Tomatoes Grated or finely chopped
  • 500 g Mooli/ Radish Peeled and cut into small pieces.
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Coriander Chopped

Instructions

  1. Heat mustard oil in a pan.
  2. Once the oil is hot, add cumin seeds, asafoetida, ginger, garlic and chillies and fry for a few seconds.
  3. Add tomato cook for 2 minutes.
  4. Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, and red chilli powder and cook for another minute.
  5. Now add mooli, salt, and 1/2 cup water.
  6. Cover the pan and cook until mooli is softened.
  7. Open the lid and cook for 2-3 minutes on high heat.
  8. Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot.
